To volunteer, simply complete the form below and choose the time shift(s) you are available to volunteer. You'll be contacted a few days before the event to confirm your shift. All voluteers are asked to report to the Volunteer Check-In area at downtown CIVIC PARK, 10-15 minutes before their shift start time. (You may be asked to provide a physical signature of the Liability Release and Waiver at check-in)"

I understand that my consent to the following provisions is given in consideration for being permitted to participate as a volunteer in this event. I am in adequate physical condition to participate as a volunteer. The race administrators may remove me from the event. I am aware of, and voluntarily assume the risks of volunteering in this event. If I am injured, I agree that I will not sue or otherwise hold responsible the event holders, sponsors, and organizers, including Walnut Creek Sports & Fitness Club, A Change of Pace Inc., A Change of Pace Foundation, the City of Walnut Creek, the City of Walnut Creek Police Department, Contra Costa County, the East Bay Regional Parks District, the Walnut Creek School District, the Walnut Creek Education Foundation, and the P.E.A.K. Education Foundation and any affiliated individuals, sponsors or their employees. I give permission to Walnut Creek Sports & Fitness Club and A Change of Pace Inc., to use my picture in any broadcast, telecast, or photo taken at this event. I grant permission to post my race results at the event and on www.changeofpace.com. I hereby certify that I have read this document and completely understand all of its contents.
