Come celebrate the season, take a spin on the ice to support your schools! PEAK Education Foundation and Walnut Creek on Ice are proud to announce “PEAK Skate Days!” where a portion of eligible ticket sales will go back to support PEAK.



To participate, download a copy of the flyer (click here to download) and present it to the cashier when you purchase your tickets to skate on one of the following days:

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14TH
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21st

PEAK Education Foundation will receive $1 back for each ticket purchased (with the accompanying flyer ).

Runners and Volunteers Needed!

This family fun event is a great way to start your Thanksgiving holiday and show support for your schools!
There will be a 5K and 10K, plus a ¼ mile Fun Run and a 100 Yard Dash for the kids. Run, walk, jog, whichever you like! Strollers are welcome too. All races begin and end at Civic Park.

]]> http://www.peakwalnutcreek.org/19th-annual-turkey-trot/feed/ 0 PEAK Education Foundation Awards Over $18,000 to Schools! http://www.peakwalnutcreek.org/peak-education-foundation-awards-over-18000-to-schools/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=peak-education-foundation-awards-over-18000-to-schools http://www.peakwalnutcreek.org/peak-education-foundation-awards-over-18000-to-schools/#comments Tue, 22 Mar 2011 04:01:33 +0000 PEAK Administrator http://www.peakwalnutcreek.org/?p=1203 At its annual March Stakeholders Meeting, PEAK Education Foundation awarded over $18,000 to its five schools, Northgate, Foothill, Bancroft, Walnut Acres and Valle Verde.   The funds represented the proceeds from recent fundraising events including the Walnut Creek Sports & Fitness Turkey Trot, the PEAK Holiday Boutique and the Walnut Festival Run.   Principals and leaders of the school’s Parent Faculty organizations were at the meeting to accept the awards on behalf of their schools.   The school’s individual award amounts were determined by the number of students per school and their participation rate in the Walnut Festival Run.

On behalf of PEAK and each of the five schools, we would like to thank all of those within the community who attended, volunteered or otherwise supported these events.  Their success is the result of the community working together to help our children.
